Huntley Police Blotter: Domestic Violence, Theft

Huntley police released reports on Tuesday detailing charges for the past week.

• Victor Cortez, 26, of 10806 Coral St., Huntley, was charged Nov. 15 with driving without a valid driver’s license. According to Huntley police, Cortez also was cited with having a loud muffler and failure to notify the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office of an address change. Cortez posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in McHenry County Court on Dec. 16, 2011.
• Jathen C. Allen, 31, 2303 Lucille, Rockford, was arrested Nov. 17 on an outstanding Winnebago County warrant for failure to appear in court. Allen posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in Winnebago County Court on Dec. 5, 2011.
• Jaroslaw Slowik, 29, 7841 Normandy, Burbank, was arrested Nov. 18 on an outstanding Cook County warrant and was cited with having no registration light and no insurance. Slowik was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond.
• Rosalava Cazales, 25, 3816 Main St., McHenry, was arrested on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license and driving with unsafe equipment. Cazales posted bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in McHenry County Court on Dec. 16, 2011.
• A 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was charged Nov. 18 with possession of tobacco by a minor at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road.
• Brian D. Eisenhauer, 18, 10727 Midwest Ave., Huntley, was arrested Nov. 18 on two counts of domestic battery. Eisenhauer was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond.
• A burglary to a motor vehicle was reported Nov. 19 in the 12300 block of Route 47. A handicap parking placard was stolen from the vehicle.
• Vincent R. Thorgersen, 35, 225 Panama, Hampshire, was arrested Nov. 20 on an outstanding Kane County warrant for contempt of court. Thorgersen posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in Kane County Court on Dec. 7, 2011.
• Elvis C. Kavanaugh, 41, 10188 Hanover, Huntley, was arrested Nov. 20 on two counts of domestic battery. Kavanaugh was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.
• Jewelry was reported stolen Nov. 20 from a residence in the 10400 block of Church Street.
