Huntley Police Blotter: Break-In at Sun City House

Police release this week's reports:

Huntley police are investigating a burglary that occurred Nov. 29 at a Sun City home in the 13000 block of Eakin Creek. The homeowners said cash, jewelry and a purse were stolen. The value of the items taken was not yet determined, police said.

The unknown assailant forced his way through the front door of the house, police said.

A 16-year-old Huntley boy was charged Nov. 29 with disorderly conduct at , 13719 Harmony Road, Huntley. The juvenile was released to his guardian and will participate in a peer jury.

DUI

James N. Faubl, 42, 12207 Hideaway, Huntley, was arrested Nov. 30 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and failure to signal when required. Faubl posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Jan. 20 in McHenry County Court.

Cannabis Possession

Christopher J. Corr, 20, 278 Moders Ave., Cary, was arrested Dec. 1 on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, driving without insurance and speeding. Corr posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 23 in McHenry County Court.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol

A 16-year-old Huntley boy was arrested Dec. 1 on charges of possession of alcohol by a minor, attempted obstruction of justice and two counts of resisting a peace officer. The juvenile was released to a family member and will be petitioned to juvenile court.

Driving With Suspended License

Butch C. Moore, 21, 717 Irving, Unit 103, Woodstock, was arrested Dec. 1 on charges of driving while licensed suspended and driving without insurance. Moore posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 23 in McHenry County Court.

Michael J. Novak, 28, 16531 Route 173, Harvard, was arrested Dec. 2 on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use. Novak was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond.

Property Damage

A fence was reported damaged Dec. 3 at a residence in the 11600 block of Becky Lee Trace.

Yard decorations were reported stolen and a fence was reported damaged Dec. 3 at a home in the 11600 block of Gayle Court.

Yard decorations were reported stolen Dec. 3 from a home in the 11600 block of Lori Lane.

Yard decorations were reported stolen Dec. 3 from a home in the 10600 block of Wheatlands Way.

Eggs were reported thrown Dec. 3 at a residence in the 10400 block of Evandale Lane.

All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
