Huntley Blotter: Theft, Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Property

Aug. 5: A recycling can was set on fire and a tire was slashed in the 12400 block of Copper Dr.

August 5: Daniel Barrientos, age 19, of 11108 Myrtle St., Huntley, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended. Mr. Barrientos posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of September 27, 2013.

August 5: A 17 year old boy from Huntley was charged with theft. The juvenile was released to his parents and will be petitioned into McHenry County juvenile court.

August 6: A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10600 block of Philip Dr. A rock was thrown through a window.

August 6: Eric D. Pawl, age 19, of 1696 Carlemont Dr., Crystal Lake, IL was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor. Mr. Pawl posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of
August 23, 2013.

August 6: A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10400 block of Northbridge Dr. Several pieces of mail were lit on fire and then placed in a neighbor’s mailbox.

August 6: A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10500 block of Sawgrass Ln. Orange paint was dumped on a vehicle and the driveway.

August 6: Mohamed K. Wahba, age 20, of 272 Aspen, Gilberts, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended and driving with an expired registration. Mr. Wahba posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of August 23, 2013.

August 6: Ramon Bernal-Perez, age 31, of 13520 Marengo Rd., Huntley, IL was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge. Mr. Bernal-Perez posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of September 6, 2013.

August 6: A burglary to motor vehicle report was taken in the 10100 block of Fleetwood St. The victim stated that a bag of loose change was stolen from his unlocked vehicle overnight.

August 7: An identity theft report was taken in the 10900 block of Braemar Parkway. The victim states that an unknown person used his identity to open several lines of credit.

August 7: A criminal trespass to land report was taken in the area of Donald and Main St. The property owner stated that unknown individuals were farming the land without permission.

August 7: Sheri J. Oliver, age 55, of 120 S. Lincoln, Carpentersville, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended, expired registration sticker and registration suspended for non-insurance. Ms. Oliver posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of August 23, 2013.

August 8: A theft report was taken in the 9900 block of Bennington Dr. A skateboard was reported stolen.

August 9: Nicolette J. Barton, age 28, of 11709 Pineway #B, Huntley, IL was arrested for residential burglary, criminal trespass to residence, criminal damage to property and driving while license suspended. Ms. Barton was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.

August 9: A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10300 block of Brighton Lane. Unknown subjects wrote on his windows with permanent marker.

August 9: Joseph M. Lichay Jr., age 18, of 13525 Ivy Dr, Huntley, IL was arrested for failure to notify police after an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with no insurance and leaving the roadway. Mr. Lichay posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of
September 27, 2013.

August 10: Three burglary to motor vehicle reports were taken in the 10600 block of Potomac Dr. A key chain, electronics, cash and sunglasses with a case were reported stolen.

August 10: A burglary to motor vehicle report was taken in the 10700 block of Oregon Trail. A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

August 11: Anthony V. Mears, age 27, of 12310 Roger Rd., Woodstock, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended, possession of a suspended driver’s license, expire registration and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Mears posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of
September 27, 2013.

August 11: A theft report was taken in the 11600 block of Dean St. Items were stolen from a grave site.
