Phone: 815-321-3063 Hometown: Hortonville, Wis. Birthday: 02/06/1983 Bio: Amie Schaenzer graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2005 with her bachelor's degree in journalism and has been working mainly as a reporter for daily newspapers ever since. As a reporter, she's covered a little bit of everything, including crime, courts, local government, business and politics for newspapers. She has written for the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Oshkosh Northwestern, Fond du Lac Reporter and Northwest Herald.  In her free time, she enjoys getting outdoors for a long run, bike ride, swim or walk. Your Beliefs At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for you to inject your beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that your beliefs are on the record will cause you to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know. Politics How would you describe your political beliefs? I would prefer not to disclose this here, but would be open to discussing this with you if you see me out and about. Are you registered with a certain party? No Religion How religious would you consider yourself? I have recently joined a congregation in this area and attend church regularly.
