Huntley Blotter: Man Arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of Firearm

November 26, 2013 Ronald E. Kus, age 34, of 12210 Baker Terrace, Woodstock, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended, possession of a suspended driver’s license and loud exhaust. Mr. Kus posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 27, 2013.

November 26, 2013 Mark R. Wiegert, age 43, of 9951 Thornton Way, Huntley, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended, obstructing identification, disobeying a stop sign, driving with no insurance, and an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a delivery of cocaine charge.
Mr. Wiegert was assigned a McHenry County court date of December 27, 2013 for the traffic and obstructing charges.

November 27, 2013 Thomas Alan McVicker, age 42, of 2121 Bridge Water Dr., Belvidere, IL, Lindsay V. Brunder, age 25, of 5341 Mahognay Ct., Gurnee, IL and Erin L. Fogarty, age 30, of 2074 Savannah Rd., Elgin, IL were charged with battery. All subjects were released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on December 23, 2013.

November 28, 2013 Michael A. Bollin, age 38, of 10683 Wheatlands Way, Huntley, IL was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a FOID card, and possession of ammunition without a FOID card. Mr. Bollin was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond call.

November 28, 2013 Richard P. Basiak, age 28, of 11891 Covey Lane, Huntley, IL was arrested for 2 counts of domestic battery and 2 counts of resisting arrest. Mr. Basiak was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond call.

November 29, 2013 Jerry W. Bateman, age 22, of 38523 N. Lakeside Place, Antioch, IL was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Mr. Bateman posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of January 17, 2014.

November 29, 2013 Stephen A. Tolvstad, age 47, of 2041 Willow Brooke #2B, Woodstock, IL was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a violation of order of protection charge. Mr. Tolvstad posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 19, 2013.

November 29, 2013 Vincent A. Potempa, age 43, of 120 Scenic Rd., Fox Lake, IL was charged with possession of cannabis. Mr. Potempa was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on
December 23, 2013.

November 30, 2013 Daniel Arteaga, age 25, of 2228 Lawler, Chicago, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended and possession of a suspended driver’s license. Mr. Arteaga posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 27, 2013.

November 30, 2013 A criminal defacement to property report was taken at 9661 Abbey Dr., Borhart Park. Playground equipment was defaced with a permanent marker.

December 1, 2013 Miguel A. Mendoza Arzate, age 58, of 5808 Lincoln, Morton Grove, IL was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and improper display of registration. Mr. Mendoza Arzate posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 27, 2013.

December 1, 2013 Dustin L. Grilli, age 18, of 11802 Mill St., Huntley, IL was arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration and improper use of registration. Mr. Grilli posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of January 17, 2014.
