Huntley Blotter: Burglary Arrest; Fraud, Criminal Damage Reports

The following information was provided by the Huntley Police Department. An arrest should not be considered a conviction.

October 15, 2013 Brittany N. Heine, age 23, of 3325 Chase Lane, Elgin, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration. Ms. Heine posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 15, 2013.

October 15, 2013 A theft report was taken on Powder Park Rd. Animal traps were reported stolen.

October 16, 2013 Herick Herbert Cruz-Chavez, age 28, of 1016 S. 36th St., Milwaukee, Wi was arrested for burglary, retail theft over $300.00, driving with no valid driver’s license, retail theft, possession of a shielding device, and possession of alcohol by a driver. In the same incident Selene Pavon-Cruz, age 31, of
1016 S. 36th St., Milwaukee, WI was arrested for burglary and retail theft over $300.00. Both subjects were transported to Kane County jail to await bond call.

October 17, 2013 A criminal damage to vehicle was reported in the Huntley High School parking lot. A student stated that someone had purposely scratched the back bumper of her vehicle.

October 17, 2013 A student at Huntley High school reported that his wallet was stolen from his backpack. The student left the backpack unsecured in the boy’s locker room.

October 19, 2013 Two fraud reports were taken at retail stores in the 11800 block of Factory Shops Blvd. In both cases fraudulent checks were used to purchase merchandise.

October 19, 2013 Jennifer M. Seft, age 34, of 1539 35th St., Kenosha, Wi was arrested for driving while license suspended and speeding. Ms. Seft posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 6, 2013.

October 19, 2013 A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 9800 block of Bennington Dr. A yard decoration was damaged.

October 20, 2013 Two fraud reports were taken at a retail store in the 12300 block of Rt. 47. Suspects presented two fraudulent checks that were cashed by store employees.
