St. Mary Catholic Gets $8M Addition
The church has seen rapid growth with 5,300 households currently attending attending services compared to 350 households 15 years ago, according to the Northwest Herald.
After two years of work, an $8 million addition at St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley recently opened to church-goers and includes 33,000 square feet of additional space, according to the Northwest Herald.
The Parish Ministry Center has 17 classrooms that can be used for religious education and then converted "into meeting rooms for staff, parishioners and the public," and a full-service kitchen, according to the article.
