On the article HELP ARRIVES! Students, Adults Pitch in to Save the Herrington as Water Rises Over Retention Wall

Reply[[ THIS IS FROM Tina Contocra, who had trouble getting a post to go through. ]] I think the matter has nothing to do with the owner having the means to hire people to sandbag. The man is simply asking for help. (I wouldn't call it begging). There's nothing wrong with that. I am sure you would ask for help yourself, Jeff. I think that people should help their fellow citizens in their time of need. Whether the man has a house or a business that's in danger, is the same thing. Both are property which have to do with a person's livelihood. The issue has nothing to do with unemployment here. Kent is not the cause of the high unemployment! That's too bad that you have tunnel vision and no compassion for your fellow citizen. Care a little, Jeff. Don't be such a bitter person. No one is at fault for your being unemployed.
