ReplyMy daughter did seed packing with my basketball team at Willowcreek about 2 yrs ago and she still asks me when are we doing it again. I'm going to have to call them and set up a time to volunteer.

ReplyThat little boy playing the drums at the end was so cute! We had a wedding yesterday but we plan to be there today. I will be volunteering for Huntley Community Radio for awhile, stop by and say hi. :)

ReplyMany thanks to all that volunteered to honor those affected by 9/11 and to educate our younger generation. I brought my girls to see the flags that we remember so well from last year. Listening to Orion Samuelson and Richie FitzSimons' story a 2nd time still brought many tears to my eyes. "The Boatlift" is such a great story of our American spirit and resolve. Loved the quote, "I never want to live my life saying 'I should have...' "

ReplyMy girls were so excited when they came home with their pledge packets! The prize levels are awesome! The PTA (especially Kate Darnall and Janet Westberg) did an amazing job this summer working on getting donations. If my girls can reach the $100 level, they will also get to throw a pie at our principal, Mr. Iddings.
We are still taking business sponsorships until tomorrow, Aug. 31st. Your business will reach over 800 families. -
