Area school districts are cancelling after-school activities and some businesses are closing early as heavy snow blankets McHenry County this afternoon. A winter storm advisory is in effect for McHenry County through 9 p.m. tonight. Below is a list of closings and cancellations for the area as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
