Garbage Rates Increasing in Huntley
Village alerting residents of increase taking effect March 1.
Collection rates for MDC Environmental service is increasing, per the wastehauler’s contract, in March. The increase excludes apartments and Sun City. New rates will be $19.47 and $16.42 for seniors. The rates will be reflected in the company’s quarterly invoices.

I just got the following info from the finance dept at Sun City. They have apparently been able to negotiate a superb deal over what Huntley got. "Our correct rate is $14.54. In May we budgeted to increase to $14.83. This includes picking up one large item free of charge per week...
