An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. A 15-year-old boy from Huntley was charged with possession of a controlled substance on April 1, police said. In the same incident a 16-year-old girl from Lake in the Hills was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, police said. Both juveniles were released to their parents and will be petitioned into McHenry County juvenile court. Timothy L. Bartlett, 49, of 13700 Wilshire Way, Huntley, was charged with battery on April 2, according to reports. Bartlett was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County …

A 15-year-old female and a 16-year- old female both from Lake in the Hills were charged with disorderly conduct at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, on March 18. Both juveniles were released to their parents and will attend peer jury. Lottery tickets and cigarettes were reported stolen from a business in the 11200 block of Route 47 on March 18, police said. A 19-year-old Huntley man faces numerous traffic charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol, in a New Year's Day incident, police said. Alex Alejandro of 11330 Dean St. was arrested on Jan. 1 for two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of obstructing a police officer, two counts of criminal damage to state supported property, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, possession of a suspended driver’s license, driving too fast for conditions, a lane violation, and two counts of failure to notify of an accident.
