Huntley Girls Swim Team Log Individual Best Times
Overall, team ranks sixth at Saturday's meet.
With a team full of underclassmen, Huntley girls swimming coach Megan Wheeler knew that Saturday's Fox Valley Conference meet would be a challenge. The meet was as tough as expected, with the Red Raiders taking sixth place with 101 points. The Crystal Lake co-op team took home the title while Jacobs finished second. "A lot of the girls had best times which is really all you can ask for," Wheeler said. "They're all improved. Not much else you can ask for." The Red Raiders did have two swimmers place, with freshman Ali Cazel taking sixth place in the 500-yard freestyle (5:51.74) and sophomore Alyssa Witt finishing sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.79).
