I must say, I couldn’t be any more blessed this Mother’s Day. I have three children who mean the world to me. One of my favorite parts of Mother’s Day is getting the handmade gifts they do at school each year. I already got a glimpse of one the other day as my middle daughter came home with paint goop all up and down the sleeve of her new shirt. At first I was annoyed. It was a new shirt after all. But once I realized how she got it there, I kept my mouth shut. It’s all good if the mess is in the name of a Mother’s Day gift. I’m sure that once I get their gifts, they pamper me with a far too-sweet homemade breakfast and shower me with kisses and hugs, they’ll be done with the Mother’s Day celebration.
