Huntley Police: Teen Charged with Delivering Pot at Huntley High

Police release reports that include thefts, an aggravated assault and possession of firearm ammunition.

  A 14-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was charged with unlawful delivery of cannabis on school grounds, police said.  He was arrested at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road on May 17. In the same incident a 15-year-old girl from Lake in the Hills was charged with possession of cannabis. Both teens were released to their parents and will attend peer jury. In other reports:

Huntley Police: Criminal Damage, Traffic Arrests

Kleckner, 21, of 104 Louie Lane, Hampshire, was arrested May 7 on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court, reports stated. Kevin W. Hudacheck, 26, of 612 Brink St., Woodstock, was arrested May 8 for driving while license revoked, possession of a revoked driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, police said. Huntley Police: Retail Theft, Thefts, Loaded Semi-truck Stolen

Silva, 19, of 3532 Blue Ridge Court, Carpentersville, was arrested for retail theft on May 1, police said. Silva posted bond and was released with a Kane County court date of June 14. Huntley Police: Investigation Continues into Multiple Thefts of Kitchen Appliances

Police report six incidents since beginning of April.

  Stealing a refrigerator or stove seems like a Herculean effort that would go noticed by someone, but a burglar, or burglars, has gotten away with some of those big items in a series of Huntley home burglaries. Six burglaries in uninhabited homes have been reported since the beginning of April, Huntley Deputy Chief Michael Klunk said. The burglaries have occurred in numerous subdivisions including Georgian Place, Sun City and Wing Pointe, he said. Most of the items missing were large appliances, he said. Because the homes were vacant, there isn’t a lot of activity aside from legitimate realtors, contractors and appraisers, Klunk said. “We also don’t have a time frame on the burglaries, which may occur during the day or night,” he said. …

Huntley Police: iPhones Stolen, Window Broken, DUI Arrest

There is a real problem in the locker rooms at HHS. Talk to the students, something is stolen from those lockers daily. Most kids don't even report anymore, because they know nothing will be done to recover the items. No cameras at the doors, no security, no sting operation....just a lot of theft.   more ›

Appliances were stolen from a home in the 10800 block of Grand Canyon Ave. on April 10, according to reports. Taylor M. King, 18, of 7 Margate Ct., Lake in the Hills, IL was charged with disorderly conduct on April 11, police said. Taylor was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on May 13. Huntley Police: Drug Possession, DUI Arrest, Burglaries

An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. A 15-year-old boy from Huntley was charged with possession of a controlled substance on April 1, police said. In the same incident a 16-year-old girl from Lake in the Hills was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, police said. Both juveniles were released to their parents and will be petitioned into McHenry County juvenile court. Timothy L. Bartlett, 49, of 13700 Wilshire Way, Huntley, was charged with battery on April 2, according to reports. Bartlett was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County …
