Suburban Man Bill Foley Found Dead After More Than A Week Missing
The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that resident William Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County.
After a week and a half search by family, friends and law enforcement, Downers Grove resident Bill Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County. The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that the cause of death is still under investigation by Illinois State Police. Family members thanked more than 1,100 followers on the "Help Find Bill Foley" Facebook page for their support in a message Monday morning. I am quite saddened by this news. I graduated with Bill from Benet in 1975. We spent much time together in various classes and also outside of class. I remember riding in his dark blue Falcon, with 3 speed on the collumn. He recognized me at one of the DG friday night car shows and we talked briefly. This news is very sad.
