Several District 158 teachers received Foundation Teacher Grants in recent weeks from the District 158 Education Foundation, according to a District 158 press release. The foundation awarded a total of $11,790 for education programs across the district. Wizards will play some of your favorite teachers in game to benefit the District 158 Foundation
The Harlem Wizards basketball team is coming to town, and they’re going to be playing against some of your favorite District 158 teachers and more. The District 158 Education Foundation is sponsoring the family-friendly event on Saturday, October 20. The event, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Huntley High School, will feature the Wizards again the District 158 shooting stars. Teachers, coaches, staff, administrators and more will play on the Shooting Stars team against the Wizards, who are often compared with the Harlem Globetrotters. The Wizards will offer comedy, as well as great skills, slick dribbling, alley-oops and more. The fun night will benefit the non-profit District 158 Foundation, which raises funds to help enhance education …
