Woodstock Residents Arrested for Firearms, Drug Charges

Joint investigation between McHenry County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit and area police departments uncovers stolen weapons and drugs, police said.

  Two men and one woman from unincorporated Woodstock were arrested on Thursday after sheriff's officers searched their home and uncovered firearms and marijuana, police said. Lee Modesto Cruz, 27, of 9917 McConnell Rd., was charged with three counts unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon, one count possession of certain dogs by a felon, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release issued by McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren.  Kevin M.
