The Cary-Grove Trojans will be advancing in the Illinois High School Association's varsity football playoffs. In a very close game on Saturday afternoon in Cary, the Trojans beat cross-district rival, the Crystal Lake Central Tigers, 7-0. Fans from both schools packed the spectator stands, and many onlookers watched from outside the field. The Trojans and Tigers were neck and neck most of the game.
