UPDATE: Authorities Identify Cary Woman Killed by Train on Saturday

Cary resident Jill Turskey, 35, was struck and killed shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday on the railroad tracks just northwest of the Cary Metra station, authorities said.

  UPDATED SUNDAY, NOV. 4: The McHenry County Coroner's office said Jill Turskey, 35, of Cary was the person struck and killed by a Metra train on Saturday evening. Turskey was struck by an outbound Metra train at about 6:50 p.m. on the tracks northwest of the Cary train station, across from Feinburg Court. Investigators on Sunday were trying to determine how the collision occurred. Kim Bostic, deputy coroner for the county, said the investigation is on-going.
