Weather-Related School, Work Cancellations for Area
After-school and evening activities are being cancelled due to the weather.
Area school districts are cancelling after-school activities and some businesses are closing early as heavy snow blankets McHenry County this afternoon. A winter storm warning is in effect for McHenry County through midnight tonight. Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are likely with higher amounts possible in isolated areas.
