Red Raiders Band Strut New Uniforms
Band wins area competitions in stylish new uniforms.
If it's true that "clothes make the man" as American author Mark Twain once said, then new uniforms have contributed to the Huntley High School marching band's success this fall. "We ordered the uniforms in the spring, and they were delivered in August," band director Nick Konwerski said. "The new uniforms are mostly black with red and white accents. The students love their new uniforms." The band wore its new uniforms during the 32nd annual Lake Park High School Lancer Joust marching band competition, where band members were among the top 10.
