Sheriff: Charges Filed Against Woman in Bull Valley Animal Abuse

McHenry County Sheriff's Department announces charges against Virginia E. Dinucci. The Park Ridge woman gave up 91 animals to McHenry County Animal Control. Some of the animals are now available for adoption.

  A Park Ridge woman - who owns a Bull Valley home where 91 animals in various states of neglect were rescued  - has been charged with animal cruelty, McHenry County Sheriff’s deputies said. Virginia E. Dinucci, 54, of 1731 Pavilion Way, is charged with three counts of cruel treatment and 12 counts of owner’s duties, according to the sheriff's office. Her bond was set at $1,000. Sheriff’s deputies went to 8617 Bull Run Trail in Bull Valley on October 29 for a well being check but found 91 animals, some dead, in the home. McHenry County Animal Control officers removed 91 animals due to unsafe living conditions and inadequate care. Really? $1000 bond for killing 3 animals and starving 88 others? This is a travesty. This is DISGUSTING! This woman should be in JAIL. How dare she . !Please lets ban together and change these laws.
