Girl Scouts Host Pancake Breakfast on Sunday

Girl Scout Troop #828 will be serving up a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in Huntley on Sunday, Jan. 27.

  Girl Scout Troop #828, comprised of nine girls from Heineman Middle School, will be hosting a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the American Legion, 11712 W Coral St, Huntley. All proceeds will benefit the Girl Scouts' Silver Award, which entails replacing or adding new flag markers for the veterans' graves at the Huntley Cemetery.  The flag holders cost about $10 each, and there are over 130 veterans out there. Breakfast will consist of pancakes, eggs, sausages, fruit and toast served alongside choice of milk, O.J., coffee or tea.  Admission Price: The Girl Scouts can only accept cash or checks.
