MCC Makes Going Back to School Easier
McHenry County College offers free seminars to adults thinking of going back to school.
There’s no better time than now to consider returning to college. But taking that step may be hard. McHenry County College’s free “Getting Started” seminars put adults at ease about enrolling in college after being out of high school for several years or longer. “Getting Started” meetings are offered every month. Morning or evening sessions are available in February. Session will be held from 9 to 10:30am, Thursday, Feb. 10 and 5:30 to 7:30pm Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Room A119 at the college, 8900 Highway 14 in Crystal Lake. Each seminar gives returning adults a chance to meet other students like themselves, learn about degree and certificate requirements, start the financial aid process and tour the MCC campus.
