Great news! Team 'ENOUGH' is now part of the Relay for Life of Huntley! It's exciting to see our Relay continuing to grow.
Cheryl Haluczak, team captain for 'ENOUGH', explains why she is so pationate about this cause.
"The American Cancer Society is a phenomenal program for the newly-diagnosed by providing information on types and stages of cancer, treatments, how to find a wig, and how to draw-on eyebrows. Our family has felt the heartbreak to the diagnosis of cancer one too many times, from breast to ovarian and cervical, to esophagus and liver, to lung and skin; we have participated in cancer-specific walks since 2007. Just recently, we lost a very dear cousin to ovarian cancer, and as we looked around the room during her service, we realized how many SURVIVORS we still have with us. In that moment, we knew that this event is something we need to do - we want to "celebrate more birthdays" together!"
We welcome team 'ENOUGH' to Relay for Life of Huntley!
***Keep an eye out for additional team intros.
