Snakes, Lizards, Komodo Dragon REALLY BIG Hit Among Huntley Families

Huntley Library's REALLY BIG Summer Reading Extravaganza brings the Traveling World of Reptiles to Cosman Theater. The event showcased some really big, creepy creatures.

Dave DiNaso has been showing reptiles with his Traveling World of Reptiles for almost 19 years and his shows continue amazing families.

“Wait till you see what comes out of these boxes,” he told the crowd. “I have animals that can eat you.”

“Awesome,” a boy from the crowd said.

DiNaso brought his show to the Cosman Theater in Huntley Friday as part of Huntley Area Public Library’s REALLY BIG Summer Reading Extravaganza.

True to the theme, DiNaso brought along a Chiquita, a yellow boa constrictor and Zany, a black throat dragon that in the wild can eat a zebra. He had other pets including a baby alligator and lots of different snakes he put on one child’s head.

His goal is to teach people to respect the animals most people don’t like, he said.
