The fair marks its 22nd year and offers families fun and health services for back to school.

The 22nd annual McHenry County Children’s Health and Safety Fair combines fun with back to school.

School physicals, immunizations and dental exams will be available as children get ready to head back to school. There will also be over 40 interactive educational exhibits. Children are issued a card which will be stamped at each exhibitor’s booth.  A completed, stamped card can be turned in for a free school supply box and enters children into a raffle for one of two new bikes and helmets.

“Makin’ a Splash!” is free and will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at McHenry County College, 8900 U.S. Highway 14.
