Marlowe Staff to Host End of Year “All Star” Showcase

Fun is the buzzword at this event for District 158 families.

 

Marlowe Middle School teachers may not have fun, but students love the Teacher Pie-in-the Face booth at the “All Star” Showcase, now in its seventh year.

This year’s “All Star Showcase” is being held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at the school, 9625 Haligus Road in Lake in the Hills.

The showcase features student displays, musical performances, and fun-filled games and activities for families. Admission is free and tickets for various games, activities and food are 50 cents each.

Popular event include such activities as: Soccer Kick, Big Bounce Inflatables, Human Foosball, ping-pong and a Cookie Walk. In addition, there will be amazing student performances in the auditorium from the Honors Choir, Jazz Band, 8th Grade Choir, scenes from the school’s spring musical Hairspray, and performance reading students.  A Book Fair will also be set up in the school library.

Students are encouraged to bring their parents to see all the achievements from this school year in various displays and activities throughout the school.
