The Huntley High School Athletics Booster Club reports scores and highlights from all the Raiders sports teams on its website.
The site reports the Raiders boys varsity basketball team beat McHenry High School by a final score of 55-36 on Saturday, Jan. 7.
“In case the annual pink out game wasn’t enough to get the crowd going, two dunks by sophomore Amanze Egekeze sure fired them up….Egekeze finished with a game-high of 17 points leading the Raiders (12-1, 1-0) to their Valley Division victory over McHenry,” the website reports.

The game wrap-up goes on to say:
“Troy Miller added 8 points for Huntley, which had several players in foul trouble for much of the night. Huntley led 12-10 after the first quarter and 27-19 at halftime. They took control early in the third quarter and McHenry never really challenged the rest of the way. Also scoring for the Raiders were Justin Frederick with 6, Ryan Craig with 6, Ryan Lussow with 6, Bryce Only with 5, Jake Brock with 4 and TJ Adams with 3.”
