Huntley High Expansion Project to Cost More Than Expected

The project will cost around $20 million more than originally expected, according to the Northwest Herald.

The District 158 School Board learned last week that a Huntley High School expansion project could cost between $30 million and $36 million instead of the $12 million total that was originally expected, according to the Northwest Herald.

The board members are expected to discuss at a Thursday meeting how to come up with the extra money to finance the project, which is meant "to accommodate 3,000 students by 2019," according to the Northwest Herald.
