Huntley High School Cheerleading Team wins Valley Division Title, Advances to Sectionals

HHS Competitive cheerleading team is heading to the Byron Sectional on Saturday.

 

Huntley High School's competitive cheerleading team won the Valley Division title this past Monday at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, the Northwest Herald reports. The team will travel to the Byron Sectional on Saturday, where it is scheduled to compete in the Large Team Division at 3:50 p.m., the story states.

Crystal Lake Central's cheer team won the Fox Valley Conference Division title on Monday. The team also will compete in the Large Team Division as will Crystal Lake South, Cary-Grove, Prairie Ridge, Jacobs and Dundee-Crown, the Herald reports.

The top five teams from the sectional will advance to the state competition in Bloomington on Feb. 1-2, according to the article.
