Huntley High Contestant in Comcast’s 2012 Battle of the Fans Madness

Show your school spirit by voting for Huntley High.

 

Huntley High school is one of 16 area schools picked to participate in Comcast’s second annual Battle of Fans Madness tournament.

Each school was selected based on the excitement and enthusiasm its student section showed during appearances on the CN100 Game of the Week during the 2011-12 basketball season.

Huntley’s competition includes (in alphabetical order): Conant, Glenbard East, Glenbrook North, Lincoln-Way East, Marist, Mundelein, Niles North, Oak Park-River Forest, Plainfield East, Schaumburg, Simeon, St. Charles East, St. Charles North, St. Rita and defending champion Warren Township.

Over the next three weeks, the 16 student sections will compete to see which one best represented its school for the CN100 cameras. Based on voting results, the field will be narrowed down after each weeklong round of voting.

Round 1 voting runs March 12-18. Round 2 voting will take place March 19-25. The tournament concludes with Final Four voting March 26-April 1.

Winners will be announced each week on our website and on the Battle of the Fan’s Facebook page.

The 2012 Battle of the Fans Madness champion will be crowned on April 2, with the best student section receiving a special Battle of the Fans banner to display proudly as a testament to your school spirit.
