Many also bid on some of the 14 raffle baskets available at the event.

Each of the schools in the district created a basket or baskets, which were raffled off to help raise money for the foundation.

Each January, the foundation awards grants to classroom teachers to help enhance education. The foundation also hands out scholarships to graduating seniors at Huntley High School each year.

In the past eight years, the foundation has awarded more than $120,000 in classroom grants and $90,000 in scholarships.

It raises those funds through events such as the Breakfast with Santa, and the upcoming BritBeat concert on Jan. 21 at Huntley High School.
