HHS Homecoming Parade Steps Off in Huntley

Huntley High School's Homecoming celebration continues with a parade scheduled to start at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 19.

There’s a new parade route for Huntley High School’s Homecoming Parade that will take floats, bands and marchers through Huntley’s Main Street.

The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. at Ol’ Timers Park, on Church Street. The route continues north on Church Street to Douglas Avenue, crosses over Ruth Road and travels on Capitol Drive to Allegheny Pass, then to Manhattan Drive to Main Street. It ends at the main entranced of the Huntley Municipal Complex.

Huntley High’s Red Raiders will play their homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 21. Sophomores play at 5 p.m. and varsity plays at 7:15 p.m. at the high school.

At half-time of the varsity game, the Homecoming court will be presented along with their parents.
