Samples will be provided so LaFleur needs tasters for the People's Choice Award, he said.

He said people can still enter. The cut off is early Friday.

There’s no fee to enter thanks to an anonymous donation, said Dana Wiley, president of Chesak/ Martin PTA. The event is free.

The PTA will award first, second and third place prizes plus cash prize for Taster’s Choice, she said.

You don’t have to be a seasoned chef to be in the cook off, first timers are welcome. To compete, check out the rules here.
