D-300 Teachers, Board Still Can’t Agree on Terms of Contract

Union members meeting Sunday to discuss its options, including going on strike next week.

 

District 300 and the teachers’ union, LEAD 300, were close to an agreement Thursday but remain at odds over class size, according to the Northwest Herald. No deal has been reached and the union is meeting on Sunday. 

The board and the union are scheduled to have another meeting on Monday, Dec. 3 and if no agreement is reached, teachers could go on strike by Tuesday, Dec. 4.
