Route 47 Construction Alert: Crews Pouring Concrete

Illinois Department of Transportation issues weekly construction update.

Illinois Department of Transportation crews will start pouring concrete at various sites along the Route 47 construction route this week, according to the IDOT’s weekly update.

Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic when necessary so be on the look out, according to IDOT.

Work will also be done on water main connections and water services connections on Route 47 between Main and Kenneth Streets, the update stated.

Finally, new streetlights will be installed on the west side of Route 47 between Algonquin and Reed Roads. Flaggers may be present.
