Huntley Voters Elect Incumbent, Two Commissioners to Village Board

John Piwko, JR Westberg and Ronda Goldman win election.

 

There will be two new faces on the Huntley Village board with the election of JR Westberg and Ronda Goldman Tuesday.

The two join incumbent John Piwko along with Mayor Charles Sass who ran for reelection unopposed.

Former Trustee Jay Kadakia lost his bid.

In McHenry County, Goldman lead the way with 1,628 votes or 26 percent of the vote followed by Piwko with 1,582 votes or 26 percent and Westberg with 1,544 votes or 25 percent, according to unofficial results from the McHenry County Clerk’s office.

There are five precincts in Huntley that are in Kane County. The Kane County Clerk's unofficial results had Goldman also leading the way with 633 votes or 69.04 percent of the vote, followed by Kadakia with 545 voters or 60.22 percent, Piwko with 542 votes or 59.89 percent and Westberg with 502 votes or 55.47 percent.

Westberg and Goldman replace Trustees Pam Fender and Ron Hahn who eac decided not to run for election.
