Huntley Considers 4-Year Contract Extension for Village Manager

Village Board members looking to keep Johnson at Huntley's helm.

The Huntley Village Board is looking to keep Village Manager Dave Johnson for another four years by extending his contract through April 2017, the Northwest Herald is reporting.

Earlier in the year, the board approved a $10,018 raise for Johnson after he was approached by neighboring Algonquin officials as a possible replacement for then-retiring Algonquin village manager Bill Ganek. The raise brought Johnson's salary to $151,400, which is average compared to nearby communities, the Herald reports.
