Huntley the Site of Numerous Charity 5K Runs
Village Board set to send letters of understanding to various charities holding events this spring and summer.
One could call Huntley home of the charity 5K run given the number of events planned this summer.
Five organizations are planning 5K runs throughout Huntley. Those organizations and events include:
- , Celebration of Home 5K Run on April 22
- It’s Out Little Secret, Race for Change 5K Run on April 29
- Girls on the Run on May 20
- Huntley Youth Sport Organization, Run Through the Sun 5K Run on June 3
- on June 24
Huntley trustees will vote this week on the letters of understanding spelling out the duties of each group during the events, including setup and cleanup.
