Huntley Freezing Property Tax Levy

The village of Huntley will levy the same amount in property taxes this year, the Northwest Herald reported.

The village of Huntley will levy $3.8 million in property taxes, the same amount it levied last year, the Northwest Herald reported.

The $3.8 million levy request means someone with a $225,000 home would pay about $362 in Huntley property taxes before exemptions, the newspaper reported.

Residents still could see an increase in their property tax bills for various reasons – the village represents a small portion of a residents' property tax bill.
