Gingrich Visiting Judson University for Town Hall Meeting

Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich featured guest at Public Town Hall on March 15.

 

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is making a stop at Judson University in Elgin next week.

The former U.S. Speaker of the House will be featured at the university's Public Town Hall meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15 in Herrick Chapel, 1151 N. State St., Elgin.

The event is free and open to the public. Gingrich has expressed interest in engaging the Latino population of the greater Fox Valley area as he campaigns across Illinois before the state's primary on Tuesday, March 20.

"As an institution of higher education committed to engaging the pressing issues of our time from a variety of perspectives, Judson is pleased to serve the Fox Valley community by hosting this event," said Dale Simmons, Judson University Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dale Simmons.
