Former McHenry Co. Board Member Accused of Misconduct

Robert Bless could face disciplinary action with the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Robert Bless, a former McHenry County Board member and Cook County sheriff's deputy, is accused of misconduct for having sex with a legal client who he also accepted $100,000 in loans from, according to a Chicago Tribune article. 

Bless was fired from the sheriff's office after a complaint was filed that he worked as an attorney and on the McHenry County Board while on disability and did not notify the sheriff's office of his other employment, according to the Tribune.
