$1 Million Winning Halloween Lottery Ticket Sold at Cary 7-11

What better way to pay for all that Halloween candy than being one of four million dollar winners in the Illinois Lottery's Halloween raffle? There were several $1,000 winners, as well.

Cary appears to be one lucky little town.

One of four winning Illinois Lottery's Halloween Millionaire Raffle tickets was sold at 7-11, 296 Cary-Algonquin Rd., Cary, Lottery officials have announced.

The winning Cary ticket number is 279505, and the holder of that ticket has not come forward, yet, said Mike Lang, of the Illinois Lottery.

The other three million dollar raffle tickets were sold at Boston's Gourmet Pizza in Tinley Park, 4T Liquor Corral in Streamwood, and Ayer Co. in Petersburg, according to the Illinois Lottery.

However, a long list of people who played the Halloween Millionaire Raffle game will walk away with $1,000 prizes including two more tickets purchased at Cary establishments, and two bought in Crystal Lake.

Lottery players with the "grand" prizes bought their tickets at Sam's Marathon, 8 E. Main St., Cary (ticket number 133377), and Volume Liquors, 382 Route 14, Cary (ticket number 180875).

The Crystal Lake winning tickets were purchased at Mobil, 250 N. Route 31 (ticket number 467278) and The General Store, 1309 North Ave. (ticket number 467278).

7-11 Owner Jay Patel said no one has come forward, yet, with the winning ticket. But he expects an announcement within the next 5 days. Congrats to the winner! (anyone know who it is? :)
