A 35-year-old Woodstock woman was sentenced to eight years in prison Thursday in a drunk driving accident that killed a man, prosecutors said.
Tania Cederholm, 35, of Woodstock, was taken into custody following Thursday’s sentencing hearing, according to the McHenry County State's Attorney's office. She was convicted of one count aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, a Class 2 felony. She must serve 85 percent of her term in the Illinois Department of Corrections before she is eligible for parole.
In the late evening hours of February 21, 2007, Cederholm was driving her vehicle northbound on Dunham Rd. At the intersection of Route 176 and Dunham, she entered into the intersection and pulled in front of an oncoming vehicle that was traveling eastbound driven by David LeJune of Rockford, authorities said.
