Woodstock Man Held on Drug Charges
Bond set at $60,000 for man found carrying 9.5 grams of cocaine, cash.
A Woodstock man stopped on a traffic violation now faces multiple drug charges, the McHenry Henry County Sheriff’s office reports.
Jeremiah B. Pedersen, 29, 842 Queen Anne St., Unit #1A, was stopped near the intersection of Clay Street and Maple Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Thursday for a traffic violation when a K9 picked up the scent of narcotics inside his vehicle, according to reports.

A search of the vehicle uncovered 9.5 grams of cocaine along with $1,800 in cash, sheriff’s deputies said. The cocaine was worth about $800, reports stated.
Pedersen is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, deputies said. His bond was set at $60,000.
