Woodstock Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges
Sheriff's deputies pulled over Paul M. Sova in Woodstock on Wednesday, July 31.
A traffic stop on Wednesday led to the arrest of a Woodstock man, the search of his home and drug-related charges leveled against him.
Paul M. Sova, 20, of the 1300 block of Madison Street, was charged July 31 with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of cannabis, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, according to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies recovered a small bag of cannabis and a second bag containing Hydrocodone pills, the release states. After further investigation, deputies obtained a consent to search Sova's home.
Undersheriff Andrew Zinke said deputies recovered another pound of cannabis, 11 Hydrocodone pills, a digital scale, packaging material and drug paraphernalia.
The street value of the narcotics seized is estimated to be about $10,000, the release stated.
Bond for Sova was set $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 5.
