Union Stabbing Leads to Man's Arrest

A fight between employees at a Union business resulted in a man’s stabbing and the arrest of a Chicago man on assault charges, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office said.

Noe X. Casimiro, 22, is charged with aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony and unlawful use of a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor, sheriff’s deputies said.

Casimiro reportedly stabbed a man in the abdomen during a fight Thursday. The victim was transported to Centegra Woodstock Hospital and underwent emergency surgery, according to reports. The victim was listed in stable condition, authorities said.

The charges against the above named defendant are merely allegations against him. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
