Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Sex Offender for Child Porn
Arrest made after numerous amounts of videos and photos found.
arrested a McHenry County man on Wednesday after he was found to be in possession of child pornography.
Lance R. Portzen, 25, of 5304 Hilltop Drive in Wonder Lake was arrested and charged with unlawful violation of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act and possession of child pornography.
According to the sheriff's office, a number of search warrants conducted on Portzen's residence, vehicle, computers and digital media storage devices resulted in a number of lewd photographs and videos of persons under the age of 18 being seized.

Portzen, a convicted sex offender, also failed to provide the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a current telephone number as required by the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act, according to the sheriff's office.
Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date was scheduled for Sept. 20.
